In View was a major exhibition showcasing an important range of works in a variety of media from the Victoria University of Wellington Art Collection. This exhibition also presented a number of significant new acquisitions including work by Billy Apple, Christine Webster, and Anne Noble.
As part of the exhibition, 35 academics and students from diverse disciplines across the university provided their unique interpretation of the works, drawing on their research interests and backgrounds. These engaging, informative and thought-provoking essays, ranging in style from the academic to the deeply personal, have been published in the form of an accompanying exhibition catalogue.
